Daniela Stojanova

Manager, Grants, Finance and Administration

As Manager, Grants, Finance and Administration, Daniela is responsible for programme management and operations support services: grant and contract management, finance, human resources, information and communications technology (ICT) and administration. With more than 25 years of in-depth experience in civil society work, she has served in various managerial and coordinating roles for more than 50 diverse projects and programmes, most of which have been funded by the European Union (EU) and Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC).

She has held executive positions at the Ecologists’ Movement of Macedonia and DEM (Friends of the Earth Macedonia), and also served actively in the establishment of the regional South East European Environmental NGOs Network and national Civic Platform of Macedonia, leading their Secretariats. Her civic duties at the national level have also included service on several public bodies, such as the National Statistical Council or monitoring committees of the EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.

Daniela’s recent assignments include coordination of one of the largest civil society support (grant-making) programmes in North Macedonia, and management of the EU Regional Action for Roma Education: Increased Education Opportunities for Roma Students and Roma Youth in Western Balkans and Turkey. She has authored many research reports on civil society and the context in which it operates, and has consistently demonstrated her commitment to continued professional development for more than two decades.

She is a consummate professional – passionate about her work and fully committed to facilitating social change.
